I am the creator of Alley Connoisseur, a zine dedicated to chronicling the strange and mysterious world of alleys. Alley Connoisseur has appeared on DCist, Gapers Block, and Roctober, as well as local bookstore shelves in Chicago. I am the creator of Godspeed Supper Club, an underground dining club that visits secret locations around Chicago. Godspeed Supper Club has more than 2,000 email subscribers and was featured in Eater, CARA Magazine, Thrillist, Purewow, and Splash, among others. I was invited by the Polish Modern Art Foundation to stay as an artist-in-residence at the Keret House, which is an art installation that also happens to be the narrowest house in the world. During my time there, I explored Warsaw and photographed its void spaces. Check out some of my photos below.
I am the creator of a city-discovery app formerly available for Android and iOS. Hypelocal Chicago boasted several innovative features, such as in-app audio tours, location-walkthrough videos, and hyperlocal content from publications such as the architecturally minded Chicago Patterns and food-obsessed Chicago Gluttons. Hypelocal offered users content that was as locally focused as possible, providing them with authentic, neighborhood-level expert guides. The app has appeared on DNAinfo, Chicago Inno, WGN Radio, and BuiltIn Chicago, among others.
