Hi, I’m Raf. I craft language to create great product experiences as a UX Writer at Amazon for the payments and e-procurement teams. My expertise also includes content strategy, editorial, marketing, advertising, SEO, and telling terrible dad jokes.

On the editorial side, my writing has appeared in Thrillist, Eater, the Chicago Sun-Times, Cara magazine, Insidehook, HuffPost, USA Today, Newcity, AskMen, Time Out Chicago, The A.V. Club, Chicagoist, DCist, Orbitz Travel, and others.

I’m also a product-obsessed maker. I am the creator of Godspeed Supper Club, which was named one of Chicago’s best underground dining clubs by Eater. I also created the Hypelocal travel-guide app and the admittedly weird Alley Connoisseur zine.

In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, cheering on the Chicago Bulls, going on road trips, and rowing. As a USRowing Level II coach, I coached the University of Minnesota Crew freshmen to grand final finishes at the Dad Vail Championship Regatta (6th) and ACRA National Championship (5th) in 2016–17.
